Description

A lovely set of 6 silver cake forks with a pretty zigzag edge to the front of the handle.

Each of the forks are fully hallmarked on the back of the handle for the Sheffield Assay Office with a date mark for 1947 and Lion Passant indicating fine sterling silver. The maker's mark is also visible for the renowned silver maker: Viners Ltd.

The forks are a good heavy gauge of silver, are in great vintage condition and come with vintage presentation case.

The case is also in good condition with some plucking to the cream interior in one corner - please see images.

Great as a wedding gift, would be a super addition to a tea set and would certainly grace a tea tray!
