Description

A beautiful solid silver double egg cup. It has been hallmarked with the 800 standard mark along with another mark - it has a French look but the hallmarks are not French so I suspect it may be from the France / Belgium boarder area. It has been superbly designed being engine turned. The cartouche being engraved with initials possibly LP or LS. It is in superb condition being free from dings splits and repairs. It measures over 2 inches (5cms) tall by over 1.5 inches (4.2cms) across the larger cup and 1.5 inches (3.8cms) across the smaller cup and weighs 28 grams. A beautifully made piece.
