A rare Georgian solid sterling silver sherry decanter label. It is hallmarked for York with the maker’s marks being that of James Barber, George Cattle II & William North. It has been well made having chamfered corners. It is in superb condition being free from dings splits and repairs. It measures approx. 1.5 inches (3.8cms) across by 0.75 inch (2cms) tall excluding the chain and complete with its chain weighs 6 grams. A rare piece by a sought after maker.
