A rare and unusual English solid sterling silver shaving brush. It is hallmarked for Birmingham 1908 with the makers marks being that of Zimmerman. It has been made as a travelling piece in that the brush is contained inside the tube which when screwed into place forms its handle. It is in super condition being free from dings splits holes and repairs. It measures approx. 2.75 inches (6.8cms) long (contained) 5 inches with the brush screwed into place by almost 1.25 inches (2.8cms) wide and weighs 80 grams (including the brush). A very high quality piece.
