Superb Rare Solid Sterling Silver Arts and Crafts Pint Tankard a E Jones 342g

1920 - 1940
Description

A stunning solid sterling silver Arts and Crafts pint tankard. It is hallmarked for Birmingham 1932 with the maker’s marks being AEJ for Albert Edward Jones. It has superbly designed having a hand planished finish and a banded Tudor leaf design around the base. It is in superb condition being free from dings splits distortions and repairs. It measures over 5 inches (13cms) tall by 3.5 inches (8.8cms) across the rim excluding the handle by over 3.75 inches (9.8cms) across the base and weighs 342 grams. A top quality rare piece.

The Silver Squirrel has dated this piece to the 1930s.
