Description

A wonderful large English sterling silver napkin ring with the most decorative repousse decoration with a large vacant cartouche at the front which could be engraved if desired.

One makes this one stand out is the charming two winged Cherubs or Angels, one either side.

The napkin ring is hallmarked for Chester 1905, a good Edwardian example. The makers mark is also present, J&RG, for J & R Griffin - Joseph & Richard Griffin. Excellent condition, measuring 1 1/4" tall x 1 3/4" diameter.
