Description

Wonderful Edwardian silver two-handled bowl; of plain circular form on a delightful pierced pedestal foot with flat-gadroon borders to the rims. The highlight of this magnificent piece is the fine cast handles, one in the form of a mermaid, the other in the form of a merman. Excellent quality by well-regarded makers of the period. A spectacular piece with a multitude of uses due to it's size and weight; flowers, fruit , a wine cooler etc; and of course, a magnificent piece of decorative silver in it's own right.
