Tom Scott Antiques has dated this piece to the 1930s.
I have shown them on a 140cm wide desk to give a sense of proportion.

The lamps have been well used over their years, so they are nicely tarnished and there are also various knocks and bumps to their bases as shown in the photos. In my opinion, this gives them real character and makes them even more decorative, showing they have had a good long life and are solid, heavy and have been lightly cleaned and buffed.

Both have been fully rewired too. The shades are also just examples and not included in the price as they are just my "prop" shades...details below
