Antique English Heart Shaped Jewelry / Trinket Box - Chester 1906

Description

A delightful and romantic heart shaped trinket or jewellery box standing on three cabriole legs.

The lid has a very simple and elegant repousse decoration outlining the shape of the heart, the hinged lid fits well and the hinges in excellent working condition.

The interior is lined in a Royal Blue coloured silk, again in very good condition. The box is of course hallmarked for the highly collectible Chester assay office and the year 1906, making this a true Edwardian example; the makers mark is rubbed.

Excellent condition, measuring 2 3/4" x 2 3/4" x 1 5/8" high.
