Antique Edwardian Sterling Silver Dish

An Antique Edwardian Sterling silver dish which is boat shape in design with pierced decoration at the top of the body, fluted detailing at the bottom and resting on a plain flat base. There are lion mask handles with ring attachments at either end of the body, which makes interesting features, and completes the overall style of this attractive dish. It would be ideal to use on the table for displaying bread or fruit and is both decorative and practical. It is 32.50 cms long, 17.20 cms wide and weighs 23.90 troy ounces (745 grams).
 
This dish was hallmarked in Sheffield for 1906 by James Dixon & Sons and remains in excellent condition.
