Antique Silver Coffee Pot.

Description

Early Geo.III silver coffee pot; of plain baluster form on a circular collet foot, with a hinged lid. This fine pot has a magnificent cast spout and a fruitwood handle; the lid bears the maker's mark as well as the lion passant, the hallmarks to the base are perfect. Of good size and weight, this wonderful example bears a crest to the body. The very best quality by a fine maker.

Dark marks on this piece are purely the effects of photographic studio lighting.
