Highly unusual Arts and Crafts brass adjustable table lamp, circa 1910
Unmarked, the design in the manner of the Birmingham Guild of Handicrafts and W A S Benson.
Hand raised / planished brass dome with with cast brass base ring and ball stem, original cast iron base insert and ceramic switch.
Re wired with gold silk flex, fitted with later mat black aluminium downlighter shade and brass shade holder.
In excellent condition ready to use.
Un extended height 24,1/2'' or 62cm, weight 2.280 kilos
