A Lovely Barrel Cut Victorian Silver Mounted Scent Bottle

A charming and rather unusual Victorian perfume bottle with silver screw lid. The body is a gorgeous Bristol blue glass, with extensive step and cross-hatch cutting and is an unusual barrel shape. The domed lid has a cork seal, negating the need for a stopper. The collar has a screw thread. A lovely collector's piece, still usable today. Dimensions below.
