A very unusual pair of blue and white transferware candlesticks. The pair are of a nineteenth century candlestick shape with a straight barrel stem. The transfer pattern depicts a romantic landscape with a caged tiger and the border has a charming lattice design. The pair are in overall good condition with one having two chips. The sticks are unmarked but possibly Spode. A great pair of unusual and decorative candlesticks. C.1880
