A fine quality pair of silver plate candlesticks in the Neoclassical Adam style. The candlesticks are typical of late eighteenth century design with an oval profile and fluting to the base and stem. The pair are made by W.F.Knight Ltd of Northampton a company that was mostly known for making high quality ecclesiastical metalware. The pair really are of the best quality and in very good condition just with the normal signs of usage. A large, decorative and highly usable pair of eighteenth-century style candlesticks. C.1950.
