A Lovely Scottish 18th Century Silver Toddy Ladle

A lovely and collectable item of Scottish silver table-ware, dating from the late 18th Century. This is a delightful cream or toddy ladle from the Edinburgh Assay Office.

This wonderful example is in Old English pattern with a Celtic point and engraved initial H. The shank is gracefully curved and the bowl is rounded. Scottish silver is always in demand and this fine example would grace any table. Dimensions below.

Hallmarks :- Maker's mark, town Mark and duty Mark for King George III.

Date :- Edinburgh 1784-1802.

Length :- 17.5 cms

Depth :- 1.5 cms.
