Hallmarks: French – the owl and Mascaron

Comments: This bar brooch is from the Edwardian era. It is adorned in its centre with a colourful white opal. It is shouldered with 5 rose cut diamonds on each side, set on platinum on a millegrain setting. The bar brooch is enhanced with guilloche green enamel. It is marked with the owl and Mascaron for 18k gold and platinum.

• Length: 57,67mm / 2.27in
