A rare Georgian sterling silver knockdown travelling communion set, George IV hallmarked London 1830 makers mark CRWS for Charles Rawlings & William Summer.
Fitting into a conical shaped blue velvet lined leather case, gilt lined chalice bowl, paten, and bottle, a bayonet-fit attaches the bottle to the bowl to form a footed chalice.
The bottle with screw off silver stopper, fits inside the goblet when packed.
IHS Christograms engraved on all three pieces.
All in good, bright, sound used condition, some polishing wear to the hallmarks and dents in the bottle and bowl.
The black leather case good and sound with only light wear, light wear to the velvet interior.
