Victorian Silver Watch Chain and Swivel Fob

Description

Victorian silver watch chain and swivel.

The chain measures 34cm long including the T-bar and the clasp. The T-bar is hallmarked for 1889 while the later clasp is hallmarked for 1917. Each of graduated links has the lion silver mark.

There is also a shorter chain attached which has an antique silver swivel fob surmounted with a lion. The swivel is hallmarked for 1900 and it has both a carnelian and a heliotrope (sometimes known as bloodstone). Both stones have surface marks.

This is a heavy duty chain, weighing in at 64.7g.
