Description

A stunning Victorian longuard chain with dog clip, set with natural cabochon amethyst, peridot and pearls. Lovely dog clasp that unscrews. Superb quality. One of a kind.

HALLMARKS

Not Hallmark but tests high carat yellow gold, higher than 9ct. All original

MEASUREMENTS

Width; 2mm flat curb link

Cabochon amethyst/peridot approx 5mm

Length; 55 inches- will wrap 2-3 times around the neck

This is a most unusual decorative chain originally for the suffragette era represented by the purple/green and whites of the stones used.

The clasp is beautiful and intricately unscrews to allow the lobster claw to open fully and fit a multitude of pendants.

Weight; 22.5g

CONDITION

Superb condition, no dents. Secure original clasp, in good working function, minimal signs of wear commensurate of age.
