Description

Large, heavy, high quality solid sterling silver pendant Pyx or wafer box.

Hallmarked London 1942, makers mark JW&CoLd, for J Wippell & Co Ltd, Clerical Outfitters, Cathedral Yard, Exeter & Duncannon Street, London WC

Rose gilt interior and partial gilt exterior, the lid with engrave Christogram IHC

All in excellent condition with only light surface wear to the gilt on the base.

Diameter 2,1/4" or 56mm

Weight of silver 62 grams.

With associated purple cord and silver plated clasp.
