S & A Marsh has dated this piece to the 1910s.
They sit neatly in a fitted box and remain in excellent condition. A "Mether" was originally designed as a drinking vessel and was popular in Ireland for serving mead.
They were hallmarked in Dublin for 1913 by West and Sons and weigh 6.50 troy ounces (202 grams).
