An Antique Victorian Sterling silver canteen of cutlery which has been designed for twelve persons in the Fiddle pattern style and has been made to an extremely high standard, as one would expect from George Adams. There are 87 pieces in total and this set consists of :
12 x table knives measuring : 24.60 cms. in length.
12 x dessert knives measuring : 22.20 cms. in length.
12 x table forks measuring : 20.50 cms. in length.
12 x dessert forks measuring : 17.00 cms. in length.
12 x table spoons measuring : 22.00 cms. in length.
12 x dessert spoons measuring : 18.00 cms. in length.
12 x teaspoons measuring : 14.50 cms. in length.
2 x sauce ladles measuring : 18.00 cms. in length.
1 x basting spoon measuring : 31.00 cms. in length.

The set ranges in dates from 1842- 1881 and sits comfortably in an attractive wooden box with the original brass fittings which is also in excellent condition. The box, which has been professionally re-lined to make it look more presentable, measures 49.50 cms x 40.40 cms x 26.00 cms.
This set was hallmarked in London between 1842-1881 by George Adams and remains in excellent condition. It weighs 108.00 troy ounces (3361 grams) without the silver handled knives.
