Description

A good George V solid silver table match box holder; with compartment below for match box and lidded compartment above for spent/used matches. Complete with well fitting unused Dunhill match boxes and matches (x2). It is hallmarked for Birmingham 1926 by William Base & Sons. The hallmarks are rubbed; most notably the date letter which is difficult to decipher in its entirety.

With exception to the rubbing to the hallmarks, the box is in superb condition throughout, no dents, dings etc; a good fireside accessory or collectors piece.
