George I Walnut Oval Stool

Description

A good walnut oval stool, the cabriole legs of shallow curved form with a turned foot, the tops of the legs with a shallow carved detail, very elegant. The backs of the ears on the tops of the legs paired back to increase depth, a very good quality touch, two ears possibly replaced a long time ago, all in all a wonderful piece

Depth 19 1/2 inches

Condition, all original, the upholstered drop in seat could do with recovering, but good.
