Description

A High quality Tea Coffee set retailed by A. B. Savory & Sons and made by (William Smiley) London 1860. The bodies all of baluster form with shell and scroll rims, further embossed with panels of foliate scrolls with central scrolled reserves, the pots with domed covers and stylised Birds of Prey finials, the leaf-capped shaped scroll handles with insulators, each piece raised on four embossed scrolling, comprising; a teapot, 17cm high, a coffee pot, 27cm high, both with cast bird finials, a two handled sugar bowl, 13cm high and a cream jug, 11.5cm high, all raised on four bracket feet, total weight: 2310 grams. 74.27 ounces.
