George VI Solid Silver Doctors Torch

1920 - 1940
Description

A rare solid silver cased doctors torch, hallmarked Birmingham 1940.

A very clever and very useful torch, which operates when the clip is pressed to complete the connection and illuminate the bulb.

The case in excellent overall condition and the torch in full working order complete with original components showing virtually no wear. The case has one very small ding as illustrated by the hallmark date letter. The rest of the case with only light surface wear commensurate with age and use.

This torch requires two AA batteries; we will include 2 batteries and the bulb.
