Antique Sterling Silver & Inlaid Tortoiseshell Vanity Jar 1914

Description

This is a super antique glass vanity jar with a sterling silver and toroiseshell lid inlaid with pretty silver pique.

It measures 3 1/2" (9 cms) across x 3 1/4" (8 cms) high. It's hallmarked for London 1914 with the silversmiths mark for William Comyns.

The tortoiseshell lid has super colour with lovely silver pique inlay and the inside of the lid is mirrored.

The glass has a star cut base and the whole item is lovely and in great condition with no damage or repairs.

This jar will come with a certificate of authenticity.
