Woodbridge Antiques has dated this piece to the Georgian era.
On the back of the ladle are the clear hallmarks for the London Assay office with a date mark for 1827 along with the Lion Passant indicating fine sterling silver and the makers mark: Thomas Wilkes Barker.

Condition: In very good condition (the bowl has some very slight pin prick sized dents and some scratches commensurate with the age of this item and mentioned for accuracy).
