Good George V Silver Basket, Chester

1900 - 1920
Description

A George V solid silver swing handle basket in the Georgian style, with pierced decoration and gadrooned rim, hallmarked for Chester 1924 by Barker Brothers (Herbert Edward Barker & Frank Ernest Barker).

An attractive basket, of nice proportions, in excellent condition, complete with quality original blue glass liner, with no chips, cracks etc.

Height excluding handle is 8cm

Diameter of rim is 10cm

Silver weight excluding liner is 126 grams
