Description

Danish sterling silver large heart on original sterling silver chain. 1960s. By Kurt Nielsen.

The lineage of the Nielsen business dates back to 1942. The company later expanded and became an international conglomerate, receiving the King Frederik IX honorary award for meritorious effort in export.

Kurt Nielsen trained at Georg Jensen in the 1950s before becoming the artistic director at KNDK.

This stunning heart is 5cm x 5cm excluding the bale, which is also heart shaped. The chain is adjustable from 78cm - 68cm - 58cm. Total weight 34.8 g.
