This is an unusual pair of solid sterling silver napkin holders.
 
They are both clearly hallmarked for Birmingham 1931 with the maker''s mark of Horton & Allday. They also carry a patent number.
 
They are an elongated curved rectangular form with an animal standing on the edge. The animals are all 2-sided.
