Beautiful ruby earrings set with natural cabochon rubies with old European cut diamonds totalling approximately 0.5cts. The rubies are stunning, rubies are the same family as sapphires but only red corundum are able to be called rubies, all other from the family are called sapphires, red rubies are far rarer than sapphires and naturally are therefore more valuable.
