Antique Sterling Silver Basket with Scenes & Blue Glass Liner 1901

Description

This is a lovely antique late Victorian/early Edwardian sterling silver pierced basket with swing handle measuring 4 3/4? (12 cms) high to the top of the handle or 2 3/4? (9 cms) high to the rim x 3 1/4" (8 cms) across.

It weighs 125 grams/4 troy oz without the liner and is hallmarked for London 1901 with the silversmiths mark for the Goldsmiths & Silversmiths Company .

It has lovely pierced decoration with various scenes around the sides and both the silver and blue glass liner are in excellent condition.

This beautiful basket will come with a certificate of authenticity.
