Rare Victorian Novelty Mushroom Pepper / Pounce Pot 1895

Description

Rare Victorian novelty mushroom pepper /pounce pot, hallmarked Birmingham 1895, makers mark L.B&M for Lines Bunn and Mason.

The gills stamped with Rd266348 registered design mark for 1895.

Screw on knurled edge base with matching hallmark date letter.

In very good sound condition, some dents to the top, the threaded cap now a worn fit but stays on fine.

Height 2" or 52mm, weight 44 grams.

Great for any collection of peppers or pounces, smart on any desktop.
