Hand crafted in silver this charming high quality necklace dates to around 1870
So beautifully designed with swags of faux pearls and green and pink paste stones

The central flower is set with an oblong pink stone surrounded by faux pearl.

The necklace continues with 22 articulated sections composing of an oblong pink stone and pearl & green round stones with tear shaped green stone & pearl drops
The design continues all around the necklace to the back where it is finished with a hook clasp

This necklace has a closed back, and the stones are foil backed to enhance them
Due to all the articulated sections this necklace sits so elegantly and comfortably on the neck.

Round pink & green stones 2.5mm long pearls 1.8mm

This genuine Victorian necklace dates to around 1850

Notes: Past is hand cut glass. It stimulates the fire and brilliance of gemstones, clear paste sparkles like diamonds. Fine paste will often look better than natural gemstones. It was used extensively in the 18th and 19th century where it was popular with royalty and aristocrats.
