George III Silver Bateman Basting Spoon

This is a George III hallmarked sterling silver basting spoon with an Old English pattern handle. It was assayed in London in 1811 and made by Peter & William Bateman of the famous Bateman family of silversmiths.
 
It appears in good general condition with wear commensurate with age.
 
It weighs 106g / 3.41 oz t.
