A gorgeous silver & tortoiseshell lidded vanity jar. The glass body is cut in geometric design, so favoured in this era. The hallmarked silver lid is finished with beautiful and detailed silver pique work. A superb and eye-catching piece, both decorative and useful. Dimensions below.

Condition :- Excellent, with no dents or splits to the lid and no cracks or chips to the glass. The tortoiseshell has a small hairline at the two o'clock position, commensurate with age and use.

Date :- Birmingham 1923.

Hallmarks :- Clear and readable. Distortion to the Maker's mark.

Height :- 8.5 cms.
