Description

This is a rarity - a solid sterling silver pin cushion dating from the Edwardian era, shaped as a tiny emu.

It is hallmarked on the side for Birmingham 1909. The cushion is original, it is worn and fairly hard. The body has naturalistic modelling, the head proud with red eyes.

A gorgeous piece.
