Antique Silver Frog Pin Cushion

Description

A lovely example of Edwardian whimsy! A solid sterling silver pin cushion, modelled realistically as a sitting frog.

The hallmarks on the side are quite rubbed (usually a result of energetic cleaning over the years) but I believe these read Birmingham 1908 with the maker's mark of Sydney & Co. The frog is weighted and sits solidly. The cushion has been replaced and is a dark green felt.

The silver is in great condition.
