Antique William IV Silver Jug

This is a beautiful heavy solid sterling silver jug dating from the short reign of William IV.
 
It is hallmarked under the spout for London 1834 with the maker''s mark of William Hewitt. It has a lobed pedestal form with a pulled lip. The body is embossed with floral sprigs and empty scroll cartouches and the large handle cast with acanthus leaves. There is a light gilding inside.
