An extremely fine Victorian 9ct gold amethyst & seed pearl heart shaped pendant with flower motifs presented on a 18"/46cm 9ct chain marked 9ct. The pendant is an example of Victorian mourning jewellery. The pendant is shaped as a heart set with 4 seed pearls within small golden flowers; pearls represented tears in Victorian jewellery, this is mirrored by the golden tear drop at the bottom of the pendant. Centrally is a beautiful purple old cut amethyst (0.25ct). The pendant measures 4.4cm x 2.5cm, the total weight is 2.15 grams and is offered in good condition.

Metal: Pendant is 9ct yellow gold. The chain is 18" 9ct yellow gold

Stones: 1 amethyst (0.25ct), 4 seed pearls.

Size: Pendant size 4.4cm long/ 2.5cm wide. Chain size 46cm/ 18"

Hallmarks: Pendant 9ct gold /Chain marked 9ct
