Antique Victorian Solid Silver Twin Handled Bowl

Description

A fine example of a Victorian solid silver twin handled bowl. It is a stylish piece with elegant repousse decoration of leaves around the bowl. It is good quality and weighs approximately 103g.

The hallmark has partly rubbed but it is distinguishable for London, 1896. The maker's mark has been overstamped with a mark for Daniel & John Welby.

It is in good condition for its age. There are no major damages and it displays well. There are some faint surface marks and minor signs of age and use but nothing detrimental. It has been gently cleaned and polished and is ready for use.
