Superior Silver Soverign Case Birmingham 1914

A superior, antique solid silver sovereign case decorated with the most exquisite pattern to both the front and back (see images). The case has a push button opening with a sprung hinge with the top opening and closing with a good snap! with a loop at the top for attachment. Clear hallmarks are visible on the inside of the front cover for the Birmingham Assay Office with a date mark for 1914 . There is a maker's mark however this is not clear as is slightly rubbed. .

 

An exquisite sovereign case, unusual and rare pattern making it very much a collector's item.
