Woodbridge Antiques has dated this piece to the 1930s.
Both the spoon and the fork have very clear hallmarks on the back of each handle for the Sheffield Assay office with a date mark for 1933 and Lion Passant indicating the finest sterling silver. The silver maker's mark is also clear: John Sanderson & Son Ltd.
