Description
Colourless, D graded old cut diamonds are unbelievably rare. This stunning 1.00 carat example is blindingly bright and lively, and is secured is a platinum six claw rex collet. Eight (four each side) eight cut diamonds run down the shoulders of the band, leading to a slim platinum shank. A classic design showcasing a rare and important diamond. Accompanied a diamond grading report from HRD Antwerp (#190000156882). Cut – Old European cut (eight-cuts in the shoulders). Colour – D (F to G in the shoulders). Clarity – SI2 (VS1 to VS2 in the shoulders). Carat – 1.00 (with a further approximate 0.07 carat in the shoulders). Circa – 1920. Measurements – The diamond is 6.48 x 6.56mm.
