Description

A stunning mid-century modern silver plated covered box, beautifully decorative in the manner of the famous French designer, Maria Pergay.

The box with an applied rope with tassels to the front.

The underside is fully marked, Lancel, Paris.

Dating to c.1970, it remains in excellent condition having just returned from our silversmith's workshop having been professionally cleaned and polished.

5 1/2" (max) in diameter x 7 3/4" tall to top of finial.
