A Lovely Victorian Silver Mounted Cologne Bottle

A gorgeous silver mounted cologne or toilet water bottle from the end of the Victorian era. This lovely example in unusual sky blue opaline glass, has an aubergine shaped body with extensive gilded decoration. The neck is mounted with an engraved silver collar, featuring a vacant cartouche and there is a facet cut ball stopper. A wonderful and practical collector's piece and a great gift idea.
