Antique Edwardian Silver Jewellery Box

Status: This item has been sold
Sold by: The Silver Cabinet

A very pretty example of a solid sterling silver jewellery or trinket box dating from the Edwardian era.

It is hallmarked on the side, with corresponding partial hallmarks on the lid, for Birmingham 1907. The top features the Reynold''s Angels design, still crisp after all these years, the clouds edged with a pretty ribbon design. The inside of the lid is lightly gilded and the base is mirrored. Overall this is a lovely, useful item.
