Art Deco George V Sterling Silver Tea Set

1920 - 1940
Description

An Art deco Sterling silver three piece tea set which consists of a teapot, cream jug and sugar basin. The teapot is round in shape with panelled detailing to the body , a plain hinged lid with a bakelite finial and a stylish bakelite handle which is comfortable to hold. The cream jug has the same shaped body with a simple side handle and the sugar basin has two stylish stepped handles on either side of the body. This silver set is practical to use and would fit in well with other items from the same period. The teapot is 11.50 cms high, the cream jug is 6.00 cms high and the sugar basin is 5.40 cms high.

It was hallmarked in Birmingham for 1933/4 by Henry Clifford Davis and weighs 21.00 troy ounces (662 grams).

Worldwide shipping is included within the price of this silver tea set.
